Two Arrested Attempted School Vehicle Gas Theft

Grass Valley Police Officers were in the right place at the right time in foiling a gas theft attempt. Police Captain Steve Johnson says the officers were responding to a report of suspicious activity at a business complex on Golden Gate Terrace during early morning hours of Wednesday. Johnson says 40-year-old Jennifer Warwick of Nevada City faces 6 misdemeanors and two felony charges. Charges include prowling and posession of burglary tools, as well as initially giving a false identity, which was her sister’s name. 43-year-old Charles Stratton, also from Nevada City is charged with 3 misdemeanors, for failing to appear in court, and possession of drugs and drug paraphenalia.
