Two Arrested for Car Theft in Nevada City

A male and female subject were taken into custody after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle in Nevada City Wednesday afternoon. Nevada City Police Officer, Luke Holcroft, says that he came across a reported stolen vehicle around 2:05 PM in the area of Pioneer Park.

At that point Officer Holcroft made contact with the two occupants in the vehicle.

Sam Bray 32 of Grass Valley, and Erinlee Thacker 21 also of Grass Valley, were taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
