Two Arrested for Possession of Quantity of Meth

Members of the Nevada County Narcotics Task Force arrested two suspects parked in a car on Flying T Road while on the way to serve a warrant a the residence. Sgt. Sam Brown sasy that as the deputies approached the residence they spotted the two men sitting in the car. The two men were identified as 48 year old Davis Barney and 20 year old Joseph Jeffries. Jeffries was on searchable probation

Barney and Jeffries were also in possession of 30 hypodermic needles.
Both men were taken into custody for a variety of drug related charges and transferred to the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
