Two Car Collision Sends Group to Hospital Saturday

A two car collision sent five people to the hospital Friday night. CHP Officer Mark Morrison says the accident happened on Lime Kiln Road near Retrac Way. Officer Morrison says a 46 year old woman from Rosmond allowed her 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazed to drift into the on coming lane were she side swiped a 2013 Acura driven by a 54 year old Grass Valley man.

Officer Morrison says when the CHP officer questioned the female driver, he determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed against the woman. The driver of both cars and three passengers in the Trail Blazer were all taken to Sierra Nevada Hospital for treatment of none life threatening injures.
