Two Council Members Appointed to Fire Services Work Group

Two members of the Grass Valley have been appointed to the working group for the proposed Shared Fire Administrative Services  between Grass Valley Fire Department, Nevada City Fire, Penn Valley Fire District, and Nevada County Consolidated Fire District. At Tuesday’s City Council meeting Grass Valley Interim Fire Chief, Mark Buttron, reviewed the process resulting from a meeting earlier in May.

Buttron defined the the second group as a working group.

Council member Jan Arbuckle and Mayor Dan Miller were appointed to the working committee.
