Two Grass Valley 17-Year-Olds Hurt In Solo Crash

Two 17-year-old Grass Valley boys were injured, after a solo vehicle collision on Highway 49, between Grass Valley and Auburn, earlier this (Tues) afternoon. Tassone says both boys have been treated and release after sustaining moderate injuries. The Highway Patrol does not normally release the names of minors. Tassone says alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor. But the driver was on a provisional license, which prohibits underage passengers unless an adult is present.
