Two Green Waste Collection Events In Nevada City

Even in December, green waste can still build up. And Nevada City residents now have a second opportunity to participate in a dropoff event, which is on Saturday. The second event, which Minnet hopes can be held every year, is another collaboration with Waste Management. They’ve set up bins in the parking lot of the Madelyn Helling Library. Public Sector Manager, Shavati Karki-Pearl, says there should be nothing that’s over four-feet long or 12 inches wide…

That’s from 9am to 2pm on Saturday. And it also overlaps with the start of the Toy Run, at 11am, at the Rood Center.
