With just a one vote lead for a possible Nevada County Supervisor runoff election in November, Deborah Wilder indicates she didn’t think she’d barely be ahead of Michael Taylor, who finished third on Election Night…
The Clerk-Recorder’s Office has not announced a specific date for the next vote update. Wilder says should her campaign continue emergency preparedness will still be her top priority. Meanwhile, Taylor admits he didn’t expect to do that well, since he’s a self-described political novice…
As of election night, Hall had 48-percent of the vote, or 25-hundred-66 votes. She would need more than 50-percent to win a second term outright in District One, without a runoff needed. Wilder had 13-hundred-86 votes and Taylor had 13-hundred-85. It’s not known how many uncounted ballots are left in the district.
