Two Organizations Partner to Offer Trail Building Seminar

The Bear Yuba Land Trust is teaming up with the International Mountain Biking Association to bring a free two day training seminar to the area this weekend.

Bear Yuba Land Trust Trails Coordinator Shaun Clarke says the “Better Living Through Trails” seminar will begin Friday evening, April 3,  at 5 p.m. at the North Star House in Grass Valley.

The actual trail building school is at the North Star House Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon.

Then the group will meet up at the Upper Miner’s Trail off Highway 20 at Harmony Ridge Estates for some actual trail building, using the IMBA trailbuilding model..

The two day seminar is free but participants must register and sign a waiver.
