Tyler Foote Rd Accident Wednesday AM

There was a serious injury accident on the Ridge this morning that drew response from North San Juan fire and CHP. Officer Justin Barnthouse says they had two units responding.

tylercrashThe male driver of the Honda was discovered in the vehicle. He had been driving westbound on Tyler Foote Rd. when he went off the road and struck the tree. He was wearing a seat belt and all the air bags deployed, but he suffered compound fractures to his right leg and arm and was not able to self extricate. North San Juan Firefighters got him out of the vehicle and onto a backboard and transported him to Fire Station 3 where a CHP Helicopter was standing by to take him to Sutter Roseville Trauma Center. The accident is still under investigation by the CHP.
