Unemployment Rate Continues Steady Drop

The rate is still more than twice as high, compared to a year ago. There were no dramatic increases in any particular employment sector in the county. But Stock did note a seasonal improvement in Government Services jobs, which includes education, with schools back in session. And the county’s jobless rate is the fourteenth-lowest among the state’s 58 counties.
