Unemployment Rate Still Stagnant But Good

Meanwhile, Allejo says there’s more notable annual improvement. The rate was 5.3% for November of last year, or .7% higher. The sector with the biggest monthly numerical increase in employment was Leisure and Hospitality, with a 140-job gain….

The sector with the second-largest numerical gain was Trade, Transportation, and Utilities, or 90 more jobs, which includes seasonal retail employment. Nevada County also has the 13th lowest unemployment rate among the state’s 58 counties for the second straight month.
