United Way Announces Allocations

The United Way of Nevada County is giving over 120-thousand dollars to its member charities this year. They have just completed the allocation process and are distributing the money to 11 different non-profit organizations. Timpany says there are several other member organizations that didn’t request funding this year. Also, about 47-thousand dollars of that money were donations that were specifically requested to go to a particular charity.
