United Way Collecting Socks, Gloves, and Water

Also the Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Penn Valley Chambers of Commerce will have collection boxes. The socks and gloves will be distributed next month to several organizations that make sure they get to the people that need them. As for the bottled water, Timpany says that’s for the free California Care Force medical and dental clinic that will be rolling into town next weekend…

The United Way is hoping to collect about two thousand bottles, and are looking for people who can bring a case or two by their office at 743 Maltman Drive in Grass Valley. They need the water by November 10.
