United Way Hosts ‘Grills and Grilles’

Its a big day of food and fun in Penn Valley, and its also a fundraiser for the United Way of Nevada County. It’s the annual ‘Grills n’ Grilles’–a combination of a barbecue competition and a car show. United Way of Nevada County Executive Director Megan Timpany says the main event is the backyard barbecue, which again this year, will also feature the competitive Kansas City Barbecue competition….

And raffle prizes. There will be beer available and other vendors. It’s all day tomorrow (Saturday) at Western Gateway Park.
