United Way Looking for New Partner Agencies

The United Way of Nevada County is looking to support non-profit agencies that support United Way initiatives. Executive Director, Megan Timpany says United Way uses its Community Impact Fund in two important ways.*

The second use of Impact funds is to distribute grants to partner agencies.*

Grants vary from one thousand dollars to twenty-five thousand dollars. However, Timpany says non-profit agencies must be a partner with United Way for at least a year to be eligible for funding. So now is the time to newer agencies to become partners in order to receive funds next year.
