Unoccupied Vehicle Rolls Over Pedestrian

Just before 10:30 Wednesday morning an unoccupied vehicle ran over the woman who was trying to stop it on Elder Dr South of Grass Valley. According to CHP Officer Greg Tassone the woman had been trying to roll the vehicle only a foot or two when it caught the steep driveway and began accelerating.

The woman was dragged for approximately 50 feet until the vehicle struck a fence post dislodging her an throwing her to the ground.

The woman suffered moderate to sever injuries on her shoulder and arm.
Officer Tassone says the injured woman was transported to Sutter Roseville Trauma Center by the CHP H20 helicopter.
