Utility to Stop Using Lead Based Paint

Lead-based paint is not illegal, and the work is not required from a regulatory standpoint. Merlo says there about 250 of these towers in Nevada County, and P-G-and-E is letting customers know about the extensive project, even though it may be more than a year before the work is actually done…

The utility is also working with the Nevada County Department of Environmental Health.
