Vaccinations Urged As Flu Season Nears

With rain on the way, the California Department of Public Health is urging residents to get ready for the flu season by getting vaccinations. The state expects there to be enough injectible vaccine to meet the demand this season. Cutler says you can ask your regular doctor about getting a shot, or you can find a link on the county health department’s website about upcoming clinics, which are usually held on Thursdays. He says flu cases are low so far this fall.
