Vaccines Slowing As More Options Are Available

The vaccination rate has slowed a bit in Nevada County as more and more people that wanted a vaccine have already received full vaccination status. County Public Information Officer Taylor Wolfe says with over 81 thousand doses administered, the urgency has lessened and appointments are available.

Wolfe says to help reach those that may now be ready to get a vaccine, but have trouble getting to a clinic there are two more options available. You simply have to check the box on the registration form.

You can also get assistance by calling a toll free number.

Wolfe says it is all about removing barriers.

The number is 1-833-422-4255.
