Vegetation Fire Threatens Two Homes

Fire season is heating up with the change of the calendar. A modest vegetation blaze was contained near Lake Wildwood Wednesday afternoon, about an hour after it was reported near Bittney Springs and John Borne Roads, according to CAL FIRE spokesperson John Hotchkiss…

One home was singed a bit. But Hotchkiss also credits good defensible space preventing any major damage. The cause is not known at this time.
