Transient Hit By Car in Brunswick Basin

A Nevada City transient has been hospitalized after being hit by a car. C-H-P Officer Greg Tassone says 55 year-old Anthony Wood was walking on Old Tunnel Road near Town Talk Road in the Brunswick Basin around 2pm (Monday)…

Wood was taken by helicopter to Sutter Roseville Hospital with what was described as moderate to major injuries, but is expected to survive. Tassone says drugs or alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in the accident.
