Vehicles Towed on Highway 49 near River

The California Highway Patrol has a warning for people who might be going to the South Yuba River and trying to park their cars along Highway 49. Officer Justin Barnthouse says the CHP has had issues with people parking their cars in an unsafe and illegal manner and they are having those cars removed.

The CHP says lots of people are parking along Highway 49 to get to the river and trails; about three cars a day are being towed because they are parked illegally, over the white line.
