Verbal Argument Escalates and Ends with Arrest

One man is in jail after a violent fight with an ex-girlfriend. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a physical fight Saturday afternoon between 48 year old Eric Futterer and an ex-girl friend escalated from an argument. Futterer became angry and started throwing items and breaking the windows out of the woman’s car, at a home on McCourtney Road.  In an effort to stop the damage the victim kicked Futterer in the leg. The Sheriff says the suspect continued to throw items at the victims car.
