Vickie Drive Fire in NSJ Contained

The fire on Vickie Drive is now contained and was held at one quarter acre.

Black smoke can be seen from North San Juan, Nevada City and surrounding areas. due to a fire   on the north side of the Yuba River, near Vicki Drive and Pleasant Valley Road.  The fire started as a structure fire and had spread into grasses in the area.  the CalFire Air attach plan  has arrived on scene along with ground crews. CalFire Dispatcher Tony Peard has an update.
