Victorian Christmas opened Sunday with a holiday flair typical for Nevada City. It was the first time the holiday event opened on a Sunday… so the crowd was a bit smaller than usual, but it was a festive group. Father Christmas was on the streets spreading cheer and good will.

The weather held and spirits were high as locals and visitors strolled through stores, booths, and the food court enjoying the first day of Victorian Christmas. The next Victorian Christmas is Wednesday evening.
