While Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is trying to get back to normal operations, officials there also have to be ready in case there’s another surge in coronavirus cases. Chief Executive Officer Doctor Brian Evans says one positive sign at the hospital, is that being able to visit patients should be resuming soon…
Evans said they should have more information about that “in a few days.” Despite only a handful of patients that have been treated for Covid-19 at the hospital, and none currently, Evans says they’ll be ready if there is a rapid increase in cases. He says they have plenty of space for patients, but staffing is a concern….
Evans also says they are ramping up their non-coronavirus operations, including performing more elective surgeries.
