A number of homeless camps were cleared out near the Pine Creek Shopping Center in May, because of hazards they posed, as vegetation was drying out. And now the Grass Valley Police Department is having a community cleanup on Saturday. Police Chief Alex Gammelgard says they’re looking for volunteers. It’s in the Wolf Creek drainage area. Gammelgard says the cleanup will last all morning, but volunteers don’t need to be there the entire time. You are asked to bring gloves and water.
