It’s almost here. The November election is two weeks from tomorrow, but if you want to vote, you have to be registered. The deadline to register is today, and Nevada County Clerk Recorder Greg Diaz says it’s a lot easier than it used to be. You can register online on the county’s website…
You have until midnight tonight to do that. You can still go to the Elections office at the Rood Center and fill out a voter registration card, but you only have until the end of the business day to do that. Diaz says once you fill out the form, it will still take a couple of days before you are officially registered…
After that, you can get a ballot if you want to vote by mail, or your name will be on the roster if you decide to visit a polling place.
