Wacky New Year

I can’t say that I was sorry to see 2014 end. Though every year is a good year… 2014 was full of challenges both personally and professionally. I was looking forward to the new year.

I have to laugh, because on New Years Day I awoke to my loveable basset hounds attempting to wreak havoc on my belongings. Coincidentally one of my resolutions was to walk the dogs every day no matter how dark, wet , hot or cold… ( I usually do this anyway… but I needed to commit because it is also my primary form of exercise as I recover from injuries).

donutjellyTo celebrate the new year, Donut (curled up in back of photo) elected to eat my iPhone. Of course she could only get to my phone with the assistance of Jelly (in forefront) who has the amazing ability to clear cabinets tops, counters, and tables of anything on them.  I suppose Donut and Jelly conspired together to get may attention because I spend too much time on my handheld device and not enough time playing or walking them.

Then, to make sure they got my full attention, they chewed my new slippers (Christmas gift)… apparently they want me to be in my tennis shoes so I can walk them any time.

Fortunately both dogs are exceptionally cute and loveable… frustrating…but loveable.
