Wanted Suspect Arrested West of Grass Valley

A subject walking on Adams Avenue west of Grass Valley Wednesday afternoon matched the description of a suspect that fled from sheriff’s officers earlier in the day. According to Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal, a deputy recognized the subject as a person of interest.

Johnson,-NeilThe deputy made contact with Johnson and placed him under arrest.
A subsequent search of Johnson uncovered some suspected drug related items.

Neil Johnson was taken into custody and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for parole violations, the outstanding warrant, and drug related charges.
