Warrant Check Nets Two Near Illegal Camp

Nevada City Police make a couple of arrests near an area where temporary campsites are often set up. Officer Shane Frannsen says information shared with him noted two individuals, avoiding the police, were around the location Wednesday morning.

Frannsen says they came across a campsite and identified 29 year old Antoinette Brantley and 28 year old Patrick Carter.

Brantley was arrested on five existing warrants and Carter had additional charges added to his arrest.

The fresh charges were added to Patrick Carter who also had drug related charges on the warrants.
