The man who went on a rampage in the town of Washington last fall has pleaded guilty to a number of charges. Caldwell stole a pickup from Vallejo belonging to his girlfriend, which sparked a pursuit that ended up in Washington. Along the way, he pointed a gun at pedestrians. When the pickup broke down, he broke into a resident’s garage and stole an ATV which he soon after crashed. Newell says Caldwell must also pay restitution…

Caldwell later ran into the woods, where he went missing for about a week before he was found and arrested by a CHP officer who happened to see him. Newell says although no tests were taken, it’s believed that Caldwell was under the influence of drugs.
