Water Forum Scheduled Tuesday Night in Nevada City

The public is encouraged to bring their questions and answers on the drought to a Nevada County Community Water Forum tomorrow night . Local founder of Operation Unite, and hydrogeologist Steve Baker says they have assembled a panel for the discussion.

Baker says panelists will be listening and commenting with citizens during the forum. Baker expects a portion of the discussion will focus on how Nevada County will respond to next year’s drought challenges, and how the community did this year..

Baker says he did a 30 day public facilitation program called Operation Unite back in June and will have results at the forum.

The Water Forum is Tuesday evening , Dec. 8th at the Nevada Theater , 401 Broad Street in Nevada City. It will go from 6 p.m.  to 8 p.m. and is free to the public.
