Water Transport Training for Fire Agencies Saturday

There will be a lot of fire vehicle type training in Yuba County near Loma Rica Road Saturday mid-morning. CALFIRE will be training water tender operators how to transport water from one source to temporary structures constructed closer to where a fire is actually burning.

This year, because of the drought, the training is even more important. CALFIRE learned something even before the training was able to get set up.

The tenders will then transport the water to temporary tanks off of Kibbe Rd and Las Quintas Rd.

The training will take place from approximately 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Loma Rica, Highway 20, Kibbe Rd Area.
