We Did It! 38 Additional Seniors will get a Hot Meal

A message from Executive Director Sandy Jacobson from Meals on Wheels:

Mary, you and all of the KNCO staff are amazing. As of 5:40 pm on June 19th, we have raised $3,965 since you and our other media friends have taken up our plea to Adopt a Senior. based on the funding we have received since last Friday at 12 noon, we will be able to enroll every eligible senior from our waiting list. We are making the necessary calls and will have everybody on board by the end of the week.

Way to go Mary, KNCO and Nevada County! I wish you all could see the lives you’ve brightened.
