Weather Spotter Training- Tonight

The Nevada County Office of Emergency Services and The Bear Yuba Land Trust are partnering with Sacramento-based National Weather Service staff to provide a Weather Spotter Training class Monday at the Madelyn Helling Library Community Room from 6:30 to 9:30PM.
National Weather Service spokesperson and course instructor Eric Kurth, says a course completer will become part of a nationwide network of weather spotters.

Kurth says participants will also get a number of resources to assist them after the class.

The Weather Spotter Class begins at 6:30 at the Rood Center- in the Madelyn Helling Library Community Room.
