Weekend Activity Keeps CHP Busy

Three teens are recovering from injuries, after their car left the roadway and crashed. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says the 18 year-old driver of a 2000 Honda lost control Sunday evening on McCourtney Road.

One witness said there was two hundred feet of sideways skid marks, the car traveled up a embankment, and then hit a pine tree. The bark was peeled off the tree ten feet off the ground. The car was totaled

Two accidents with the driver injured were reported over the weekend. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says the first accident was reported Friday night on Tyler Foote road near Murphy Road. Officer Barnthouse says the 35 year old driver from Nevada City lost control of his 1990 Jeep.

In another accident on Highway 20 near Conchero Lane a 73 year old man from Woodland lost control of his 1997 Dodge pickup when he left the road and the tire hit the edge of the road and he pulled to the right and off the road.

The CHP is investigating all of the accidents.
