Weekend Dog Show at Fairgrounds

The Gold Country Kennel Club is holding their 14th annual all Breed Dog Show, Obedience Trial and Rally Trial at the Nevada County Fairgrounds starting today and running through Sunday. Dog Show co-chair Lesley Boyes says breeds from small to large will be represented at the show .

Highlighted today in specialty shows are the Doberman Pinchers, the Labrador Retrievers, and the Border Collies.

Boyles says the Dog owners and breeders come from all over the county to show at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

There is no charge to get into the dog show but there is a $5 parking charge at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Boyes says there are lots of family friendly events to see and do and plenty of vendors and food booths open.
