Welcome Home Vets Arts Council Launch New Project

Welcome Home Vets and the Nevada County Arts Council are collaborating on a new project that will put veterans behind the camera.
Welcome Home Vets Executive Director Julie Carrara says they are working with Brian Buckley, President of the Arts council on a Veterans photography project.

The project will be a teaching and a healing experience for the veterans and a way for them to share their stories.

Carrara says the Arts Council hasn’t typically worked with veterans before and vice versa.

Any Veterans who might want to get involved can contact Welcome Home Vets.

Welcome Home Vets also offers counseling and other services for returning veterans including a new one they call Reboot Camp to help veterans readjust to civilian life.
