Welcome Home Vets Open House 2:00 til 8:00 PM

Another Veteran related even is taking place this afternoon in Grass Valley. Welcome Home Vets invites veterans and the public to their open House event at the Lola Montez House beginning at 2:00 PM.
The Welcome Home Vets organization offers  a safe and sustainable place for veterans, active duty military and their families to receive the psychological care they need for Post Traumatic Stress and other disorders associated with their military service.  Co Founder of Welcome Home Vets, Doug Becker says Nevada County has about a14 percent  population of veterans  and the only way they could  get PTSD Counseling covered is to go to Auburn, Reno or Mather Veterans Hospital .

Welcome Home Vets contracts with local providers of psychological services who are competent in both psychotherapy and military culture to provide individual, group, family and peer-based services.
Welcome Home Vets now has a permanent location in the Lola Montez house at 248 Mill Street. they invite the public to come to an open house today from 2pm to 8pm  to check out their services, with half hour presentations on PTSD at 3 oclock and 6 o’clock. .
