Wheeler Cross Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle driver on Wheeler Cross road was making a right hand turn onto Dog Bar Road about 3:30 last Friday afternoon , when it appears the rider may have had a problem or accelerated too quickly and lost control.

CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the motorcycle rider was ejected off the bike and onto the ground which may have prevented much more serious injury.

The motorcycle rider, a 56 year old female, received mild to moderate injury and refused ambulance treatment at the scene. The motorcycle rider was from Grass Valley and the driver of the Prius was a 50 year old female from the Alta Sierra area.
