When to Fill Up and Why

Rumor has it that a person will get more gas if they fill up a vehicle with gas early in the morning or well after sunset when the temperature is cooler. According to local petroleum expert, Don Hoffler, that is just a myth.

One rumor that does have merit is the fact that it is better for a vehicle to be more full than empty. The car doesn’t necessarily run more efficiently, but it does decrease wear and tear on your fuel pump.
