Wildfire In Placer El Dorado Counties Growing

The so-called Trailhead Fire that began in the American River Canyon in Placer County on Tuesday has now grown to at least 350 acres, with about 400 structures threatened. All but about 70 acres is burning in the El Dorado National Forest. Hundreds of residents are under mandatory or voluntary evacuation orders, including Foresthill and Todd Valley.
