An organization focused on rehabilitating injured wild animals is seeking help from the public. The fourth annual, “Where the Wild Things Are – Celebration and Benefit” for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release will be held at Prospector Nursery in Nevada City on September 6 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Organization spokesperson, Joan Pancharian, says the event is an opportunity to enjoy food and entertainment while visiting some of the Animal Ambassadors.

Pancharian says the money raised by the event and raffle goes directly back to the animals.
The animals come to Wildlife rehabilitation from all areas of the county and for a variety of reasons.

The Where the Wild Things Are Celebration is Saturday evening starting at 6:00 PM at the Prospectors Nursery in Nevada City.
