UPDATE 6:00 PM Wind Causing Power Outages

Wind wreaking havoc on trees and power lines in Nevada County… as of 6:00 PM the following areas still without electricity.

Nevada City 2600 customers (was 3500) including East of NC (Scotts Flat Lake, Cascade Shores).
Grass Valley area  585 customers (was1600) without power including the Highway 174 corridor.
Alta Sierra 148 customers (was 266 ) without power
Penn Valley Lake Wildwood area 100 customers without power.

P G and E working to establish causes and re-establish service in those areas.

A high wind warning in effect for Grass valley until mid-morning tomorrow.
