Wind Complex Fires Almost Surrounded

Full containment is expected by tomorrow on the fires that make up the Wind Complex, but containment is close, after the weather cooperated over the weekend. The total acreage from the Cascade, LaPorte, Lobo, and McCourtney Fires is 17,037 at 96 percent containment. The Lobo Fire, which is the one in the Rough and Ready area, is at 821 acres and 97 percent contained. 365 structures have been destroyed throughout the Wind Complex, including an estimated 22 homes inside the Lobo Fire.
