Winter Reading Challenge Already Nearing Goal

It’s still not too late to join the Nevada County Library’s Winter Reading Challenge. And, as of Wednesday, Grass Valley Library Branch Manager, Margaret Gilmore, says they’re already well on their way to reaching the goal of 100-thousand words. An impressive 80-thousand words has already been logged, since the challenge started at the beginning of the month. And there’s lots of latitude…

It’ll include grab bags of hot chocolate supplies and winter treats. Pick up a bingo card at your local branch and log minutes on the Beanstack app. Or you can turn in paper logs. But they must be turned in by the week of January 10th to be considered for a prize drawing on January 14th. And the more you read, the better are your chances. Winners will be announced at the end of January.
