Wolf Road Burglary

One person is in juvenile hall and three others are being searched for after Sheriff’s Deputies caught them breaking into a Wolf Road business in Auburn.  Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies had staked out the business after repeated break-ins on prior weekends.

The Sheriff says deputies saw a pickup pull behind the business and turn off its lights early Monday morning.  The Sheriff says deputies caught a 16-year-old individual inside the business with a arm load of beer.

A short time later, a report of an accident involving the pickup was reported farther down Wolf Road.  Deputies found the pickup had been stolen from Liberty Motors in Grass Valley earlier in the evening.  Another reported burglary on Combie Road matched the items found on the seat of the stolen pickup.

The Sheriff says the additional three suspects will be taken into custody.  The one juvenile caught was booked into Juvenile Hall.  The investigation is continuing.
