Woman Arrested After Fight With Boyfriend

A Grass Valley woman was taken into custody following a physical confrontation with her boyfriend. Nevada City Police Sgt Paul Rohde says the altercation began around 2:00 PM Tuesday. The incident escalated from a verbal argument and became rather violent.

McIntire,-Tara1The female, 30 year old Tara McIntire, fled the scene and her boyfriend was treated for his injuries and transported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Officers ultimately contacted McIntire at her apartment and subsequently arrested her for inflicting corporal punishment and assault with a deadly weapon for hitting the male with her car as well as throwing the beer bottles at him.
